Ohn Mar Win is a self-taught watercolor artist, illustrator, and sketchbook enthusiast from the UK who believes in the joy of everyday creativity. She has been painting in sketchbooks for over a decade, filling more than 60 of them with everyday observations, especially food, florals, and travel scenes.

Her process is all about staying loose and expressive by capturing the essence of a subject rather than fussing over every detail. “My motto is, ‘don’t faff’—it’s a UK term for not overworking,” she says. Ohn Mar has shared her passion for art with thousands of students worldwide, and loves helping others build their confidence with loose watercolor and on-location sketching.
