Описание: BEAUTY PRODUCT DEV STORYIME: Christina prompted me to tell her a story about a manufacturer abroad, so I had to share the story of course with some vintage BTS photos/videos of a 2 week trip to Japan I took back in 2018. It was also my first time to Japan, and I fell in love with Japanese culture and beauty. And truly was one of my favorite experiences inside a beauty manufacturing facility (and I’ve been to a bunch). Manufacturing facilities everywhere around the world are generally very hygienic, but it’s easy to tell how the hygienic and ritualistic respectful culture of Japan influenced the manufacturing procedures and operations inside Japanese manufacturing facilities specifically. The care and attention to detail in hygiene and ritual really blew me away. We had to wear specific uniforms inside the facility and layer them with jumpsuits to prevent any particles from our hair or skin contaminating the production area. It was fascinating! You’ll see me rocking the various layers we had to put on and showcasing what I can as I tell you the story of what goes on inside the factory. This was such a special experience and was a pivotal moment in my career in beauty product development. Japan was also the beginning of my fascination of beauty culture from a global perspective outside of Europe, and for me it was so rich and beautiful.
