The story of Prophet Musa (Moses, peace be upon him) and the Angel of Death is mentioned in Islamic traditions. When the Angel of Death came to take his soul, Musa (AS) struck him, and the angel returned to Allah. Allah restored the angel and sent him back with an option: Musa (AS) could extend his life by placing his hand on a bull, gaining one year for each hair under his hand. Musa (AS) asked what would happen after that and was told that death would still come. He then chose to accept death and asked to be buried near the Holy Land.

This story reminds us that death is inevitable and that everyone ultimately returns to Allah.
