I'm working on a chair design for class and thought I would share the process behind the making of a piece of designer furniture. This involves a lot of tiny sketches and tiny models.
This is the final step - taking the revised models into a full scale prototype.
CNC plasma cut in plate steel with steel rod legs, the prototype for FOLD is realized with welding, grinding, and a coat of paint.
