Описание: Porridge film was made in the winter of 1978 and released 1979. The escape scenes were shot in near freezing temperatures. The film version strayed away from its usual tv programme locations of London and St Albans and used Chelmsford Prison, Kent and the Chilterns. Though the film version had its critics it was generally well received by the media and fans. Sadly actor Richard Beckinsale died afew weeks after filming.
