On April 5, 1958, workers set off a massive explosion in Seymour Narrows, near Campbell River, to blow up an underwater mountain that was a severe hazard to mariners. CBC spoke with Sandra Parrish, executive director of the Campbell River Museum, about one of the largest non-nuclear planned explosions of its time.
