Rody Joh is a Tanzanian DJ, producer, and artist whose music reflects a deep connection to his cultural roots and a passion for blending genres. Influenced by the sounds his parents and guardians played while he was growing up, Rody developed a style that merges Afro House, Taarab, and electronic music into something uniquely his own.
Citing Avicii’s True, MÖRDA’s Asante I, and Travis Scott’s Astroworld as his all-time favorite albums, Rody draws inspiration from their innovative production and emotional depth — qualities that have shaped his sound.
