Hey howdy hey how’s everybody doing and welcome back to Disney daily!
In the Nightmare Before Christmas there is only one creature who really steals the show and it’s none other then Oogie boogie.
This singing villain is most memorable for being made of insects, his love for gambling and his rivalry with Jack Skellington.
He lives on the outskirts of Halloween town in what seems to be a cell of some sort. He is powerful and persuasive enough to orchestrate a band of minions (Lock, Shock and Barrel) to do his dirty work for him and bring him food. But you are probably curious as I was, was it his choice to stay there? Or was he banished? Or was there some sort of curse on the place so he couldn’t escape?
Well in today’s video we address all those questions and dive into the history of Oogie Boogie, more specifically his relationship with Jack.
