The Florida-Friendly Landscaping Professional Landscape Series provides free, science-based information on topics of interest to green industry professionals, landscape architects, and community association managers. This session covers mosaic and lethal viral necrosis, take-all root rot, and large patch disease.
Philip Harmon presents "Turf and Ornamental: Landscape Disease Update." He is a professor of plant pathology and an Extension specialist. His research interests include diseases of warm-season turfgrass species and disease management for southern highbush blueberry. His extension efforts have focused on providing rapid and accurate diagnostic services to the turfgrass, small fruits, and ornamental plant industries.
