[READ DESCRIPTION] ABS-CBN Sign-off/Shutdown Transmission - Animation Recreation (2020)

Описание: 5 Maggio 2020 is the day ABS-CBN was shut down the second time since 1972 when it was raided upon declaring of Martial Law by President Ferdinand Marcos, Sr. The shutdown was effective after NTC issued a Cease-and-Desist Order against the Network sans franchise, in which the previous one (the Republic Act 7966, granting a 25-year franchise) was expired the day before.

Originally, thebelovedmoon planned on another take on a Sign-On/Sign-Off Animation, but seeing the new Sign-Off variant in place, he wanted give another shot at that. However, with due respect to ABS-CBN with concerns over the shutdown, he wanted this take to be in-line with the current situation.

As such, we at La Luna 🌙 would like to thank Emmannuel Ortega (of The Ortega Project) for lending us a hand with the video animation assets. We had planned for a collaborative effort in animation for a long time, and saw his animations in the past. You can find his YouTube Channel in the Info Bar. (The video animations used in the Announcement and Sign-Off/Shutdown were made by himself via PowerPoint.)

Also, we would like to take this opportunity to express our support and concern with regards to ABS-CBN Shutdown. We cannot let any of this happen like it did back in 1972, 'the day Democracy died'.
