It’s been just over two months since the global release of Where Winds Meet, and it’s safe to say the game has been a massive success. With "Very Positive" reviews on Steam and a thriving playerbase across PC, Console, and Mobile, I’m checking back in to see if the momentum is holding up.
Since my full review, I’ve continued to play regularly, and honestly? This game has completely killed Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves for me. The progression feels more rewarding, the combat is significantly more engaging, and most importantly—it lacks the aggressive FOMO that usually has me reaching for my credit card.
In this video, I’m showing off my account progress, farming Level 71 gear, and tackling the new content from the Patch 1.2 update. I’ll be going head-to-head with the new boss, the Nameless General, clearing out the world bosses I've been saving up, and testing out the cross-platform experience on mobile to see how it actually controls.
Where Winds Meet continues to surprise me with its depth, and with the Nine Mortal Ways expansion and Kaifeng underworld content on the horizon, the future for this Wuxia open-world RPG looks incredibly bright.
