The Serra Padres defense gave up 8 total M-A offensive yards in the first half and limited 5-star WR Troy Franklin to just 60 receiving yards. Senior Nate Sanchez stole the show at Levi's Stadium with 5 total touchdowns for Serra. Sanchez had three rushing touchdowns and two touchdown receptions. The turning point of the game came towards the end of the third quarter when the Padres stopped M-A at their own three yard line on fourth and one. Serra then drove down field for 98 yards, on 13 plays capped off by Sanchez's fourth TD of the night stretching the lead 31-6. Each team scored one more touchdowns before time ran out making the final score 38 to 13 Serra with the win.
