Hinckley Driving Test Route. In 2020 there are 12 Hinckley driving test route. To book and pass the driving test in Hinckley, you will need to learn the Hinckley driving test route before you book your official DVSA practical driving test, particularly in light of the recent driving test changes, this is driving test route no.5.

As you can see test route 5 takes in the M69 roundabout which is features in most of the Hinckley practical driving test routes, this is unlikely to change. It is therefore a very good idea to ask your Driving Instructor or whoever is helping you with your driving lessons to take you to the M69 roundabout so you can become accustomed to the speeds of the traffic here; before you even think about when to book the driving test.

Also you may notice some road signs are covered by vegetation and some of the road markings are, in my opinion quite late, almost too close to the junctions to allow you to plan ahead satisfactorily, this is a feature of the roads this area, it is to your advantage to get to know all of the driving test routes.

My advice is to watch the videos more than once; to get a really good idea of the roads you will be asked to drive on and where any pitfalls may occur. You will notice many of the Hinckley driving test routes overlap with each other meaning some of the roads and junctions are included in multiple test routes.

These videos are the most recently published test routes from the DVSA. The test routes are subject to change periodically; however, they rarely change completely it is more likely they will slightly alter. Also, if there happens to be a road block ahead; due to road works or an accident for example; your examiner may alter the test route in order to save time or in the interest of fairness for this reason the video should be seen purely as a guide. This means you are not guaranteed to stick strictly to the route in the video.
