Four producers from various professional backgrounds who return to the land from urban centers are in the video series "Back to the Land in Palermo and Its Periphery" with four different stories!
The series aims to reveal the activities of producers in Fondo Micciulla, Valley of Oreto-Guadagna, Valle di Fico-Altofonte and Portella di Rebuttone with a focus on fair, healthy and clean food production in Palermo and its periphery. In the narratives of the producers, concerns about water and soil which are the basic components of such a production, come to the fore, while the biggest threat is seen to be the abandonment of rural lands, recent fires, and climate change.
