Trading blows on gas sites and refineries, marks major escalation Middle East

Описание: Energy production facilities appear to have become the latest front in the War in the Middle East. Iran has threatened strikes on significant oil and gas sites across the Persian Gulf, in retaliation to an attack on facilities related to the South Pars gas field. It says that has crossed a red line. The large gas field is shared with Qatar and is the world's largest known gas reserve, providing the biggest source of domestic energy in Iran. In response, strikes have been reported in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The escalation sent the price of oil and gas soaring. Brent crude went up more than 5% and at one point it was more than $110 US dollars a barrel.
