Описание: Exploring a section of the Black Creek in the Town of Lloyd (outside of New Paltz) New York. Paddling our Kayaks north of the put-in on Route 299 led us through a lazy section of woodland creek which eventually petered out. Returning, we found an opportunity to explore a second leg of the creek, which also become impassible. Heading south after a short portage, we paddled through some wetlands before heading home. We encountered several red-tailed hawks, a turkey vulture, blue jays, yellow finches, a few frogs, and more than 78 turtles.
