Just a quick video on how I replaced a spiral cable or clock spring on a 2008 Toyota Matrix. The ABS Light was on, and the dealer told the owner that he needed a new spiral cable for around $620 installed.
This is the same as many other Toyota models, and should be the exact same as the Toyota Corolla. Pretty easy job, just make sure to disconnect the battery before working on or around the airbag.
Tools needed:
T30 torx bit
small flathead screwdriver
No.2 Phillips screwdriver
Steering wheel puller (may not be necessary)
10mm wrench to disconnect negative battery cable
