This is the first of a new series of clock repair videos.
Having removed the spring from the barrel we now clean and polish the barrel.
The barrel is polished with Autosol then rinsed and brushed with a tooth brush in Shellite.
When the barrel has been dried off with a clean piece of cloth pegwood is used to remove any polish remaining.
A final wipe off with a clean cloth and we are finished.
