Описание: The diesel engine on my Catalina 27 unexpectedly shut off while idling the other weekend. We isolated the problem to the transmission. Unfortunately the transmission is attached from inside the engine bell housing which is also is part of the stern engine mount. Removal of the entire engine is required in order to repair the transmission. I decided it was best to bring the Engine home to my shop since we still want to have fun on the boat. Every wonder how to remove a diesel from your sailboat? This is how we did it.
