The work in the home done by women tends to be invisible—becoming noticeable only when the job needs to be done again. Consequently, housework is mostly noticed when we are falling behind, while also being taken for granted. I share a study’s findings that helped me see a way forward through the unfortunate reality of feminine-coded work in the home.
