Описание: ROG Xbox Ally X — 3-Week Review:
The name is too long — let's call it ROG Ally X 2. - for 3 weeks while moving from Connecticut to Maryland, and testing titles like Street Fighter 6, Borderlands 4, Ninja Gaiden 4, and Hollow Knight: Silksong. Performance is excellent — Windows 11 in Xbox full screen felt focused and smooth, with minimal background processing. This thing is a beast for a handheld gaming PC.

One standout is the sleep/wake behavior. The device sometimes powers down like a normal PC shutdown, but when it wakes, it boots normally straight back to exactly where I left off — with no noticeable battery loss. That reliability made it much less stressful to use on the go.

Drawbacks: The screen should be 8" for this model (7" feels small, and that should be for the cheaper version), and the buttons are a bit loud and slightly sticky.

Bottom line: after real-world use, I recommend the ROG Xbox Ally X 2 - for me it's a 10 out of 10 as a handheld gaming PC until I get my hands on the Legion Go 2. If the ~ $1,000 price gives you pause, skip it — but if you can afford it, it’s well worth the purchase.
