Preface: If you don't have a sense of humor, go ahead and skip this episode! Installing a gas cap isn't hard... obviously! So yeah, it's more meant as a joke, but I do address an issue regarding the tank being vented.

Installed a new gas cap! No more huge silver cap sticking out of the tank. Replaced it with a JP Cycles black wrinkle flush mount pop up cap. Seems to be working great, no leaks or gas coming out. So far, so good!

From all the feedback I've read about the many different flush mount gas caps out there, some seem to work, some don't. If you have the little piece of metal tubing sticking up in your gas tank opening, you need a vented gas cap! I've read many stories of people buying a gas cap and it not fitting b/c of that little sticking up tube, or they have to bend it or trim it or some craziness. If you order the right gas cap, you won't have to do anything. Do your research, easy peasy!
