On a recent portable milling job I had some strange feed issues. The carriage or head on the wood mizer lt40 just wasn't driving right some of the time so I needed to fix it! One minute it would be perfectly fine, then the next it wouldn't feed right and I'd be pushing on it, adjusting the feed control and scratching my head, then it would feed just fine for the next hour, only to rear up again for a few minutes some time later....it was a head scratcher!

I called Wood-Mizer as I wasn't certain what the issue might be (though I guessed) and was advised my drive belt needed to be adjusted most likely. So I got to it and adjusted the drive belt on my wood mizer lt40 and brought you along for the ride so you could see what I had to do to correct this little problem.
