Bounding (Continuous Stride Jumps) is a high-level plyometric drill that improves running stride power, springiness, and ground force production. It helps athletes lengthen their stride, explode off the ground faster, and transfer strength into sprint speed.
Equipment:
• Open field or turf
How to Perform:
👉 Begin jogging, then exaggerate your strides into giant, leaping bounds
👉 Jump off one foot and land softly on the opposite foot each step
👉 Focus on a high knee drive and powerful forward motion
👉 Continue bounding for about 15 yards (8 bounds total, 4 per leg)
👉 Walk back to recover and reset between sets
