Link Wray - RARE! LONG-LOST RADIO INTERVIEW, 1997

Описание: The late great Link Wray, the KING of the rock and roll guitar, is here in an interview I taped off KQED FM radio on July 8th, 1997, the day after he played at Bimbo's in San Francisco and fell off the stage that night.
It was my first time seeing him and I was worried if he was okay; he was and the next day the talk changed to that the show the following night might be cancelled, but I saw him play while he was seated that following night in San Jose at The Usual (a club that was previously known as FX and now the club The Ritz occupies that spot, across the street from where The Cactus Club was, down the block from Marsugi's).

I apologize for this having some hiss here but with my current tape deck's limitations it was either that or having Link's talking a bit muffled, and I didn't want that. It was the best I could get for the interview on tape with over 21 years ago.

This interview has been unheard by most Link Wray fans, and I hope you enjoy it.
