We live in our Escape Travel Trailer 21 full time so having RV safety and security measures are important to us. These are the things we use to prevent or at least slow down potential thieves. Although the most determined of thieves will eventually get what they want, if you can slow them down enough they may just give up and look elsewhere!

One issue we had was with the new rv lock on the door. We had to slam the door in order to get it to shut. We eventually had Escape adjust the door so it would close a lot easier. They basically took some 2x4's and bent the top and bottom of the door out a bit so the latch would shut without slamming.
