A pre-dawn fire at ZooWorld forced deputies into a desperate rescue mission, smashing through cages to save exotic animals as flames tore through.
Deputies with the Bay County Sheriff's Office say they responded to a blaze at ZooWorld around 5 a.m. on Thursday.
Not only was the structure at risk, but also the lives of hundreds of animals, including lemurs, lions, tigers, giraffes, alligators, capybaras, and various birds and reptiles.
