Story Summary:
Rarity, the new Element of Generosity, has been harboring a deep, dark secret. It wasn’t her generous spirit that helped her climb the social ladder, but her keen mind and discerning eye. She only joined Twilight and their friends to further her own career, notoriety, and agenda. This unwittingly presented her with a problem: having to endure their company on a regular basis for the sake of her growing social status. The more time she spent with them, the more their ‘faults’ grated on her nerves.

Finally, an opportunity presented itself: the Grand Galloping Gala. In a stroke of genius, Rarity “generously” offered to make gowns for each of her friends for the event! As her magical talent (and cutiemark) was based on gemstones and fashion, she had already honed her magical craft over the years and was able to enchant any gemstone of her choosing with the essence of mind control.

The result was a resounding success! Her friends were now all stripped of the qualities and personality traits Rarity had deemed as ‘flaws,’ with the added bonus of them being subservient to her every whim. Although this endeavor began as a means to maintain her status, Rarity then realized that she could ascend all the way to the top via a fashion revolution! Using her friends as free labor, Rarity was able to create dozens upon dozens of magic-laced gowns that the Canterlot elite simply couldn’t resist. Rarity was even able to utilize mind controlled Twilight to gift dresses to the Princesses of Equestria. With Canterlot and the newly ‘retired’ Princesses at her command, Rarity amassed a fabulously dressed army to seize control of Equestria. By the takeover’s conclusion, no pony could survive the shame of nakedness in Rarity’s glamorous empire. Long live the Fashion Queen!
