Would definitely recommend playing it yourself if it looks interesting to you.
In the last run I realized I barely needed to kill enemies at all, which led me to think, "what happens if I just don't kill anything?". It speeds up a lot of sections since time not spent reloading the gun or shooting enemies is time saved. The only thing that gets slowed down is I can't get the seed anymore with this route since that's behind a demon wall, so I just have to go get the 5th duster normally instead.
At this point almost half the run is just playing the duster stages, and they're just autoscrollers so it's kind of meh (and not as fun as the base gameplay itself). Still had a fun time getting a run where I didn't die during any of the duster stages though.
