Most of us are familiar with the Boston tea party, but very few of us have heard of the forgotten tea party of Greenwich, New Jersey. On December 22, 1774, a group of 40 patriots burned boxes of British tea that were slated for Philadelphia. This is now known as the Greenwich Tea Burning of Cumberland County.
