The 539th Convocation of the University of Chicago was held on Saturday, June 7 2025, on the Main Quadrangle. The University of Chicago Pipe Band led distinguished faculty and degree candidates in a procession, followed by opening remarks from President A. Paul Alivisatos. Provost Katherine Baicker introduced Professor Kunle Odunsi, who delivered the Convocation Address, “Committing to Excellence in the Face of Life’s Challenges.”
