Here are some high percentage tools worth trying!
Notice how I didn’t include stretching?
Yeah, that’s because stretching is a low percentage tool for pain.
Now we’ve got that out of the way for the billionth time.🤭
This order of ideas starts with local work first such as sensory (rubbing) and motor (movement) and progresses to “higher order” like opposing joints and vision and vestibular drills.
The key is to assess your response to each individual input.
Find the drills that give you immediate pay off.
Then begin to practice those drills frequently to reduce threat.
By applying the right inputs you begin to teach your brain and nervous system that it is safe.
Safety equals better output (movement) and less pain.
