In this case, the pits on the chrome-plated rods are very deep, so we did not directly brush plating. In order to save time, we first filled the deep pit with argon arc welding and stainless steel electrodes, and then used an angle grinder to grind away the uneven welding areas. This video does not include welding.
After activation #2, you can actually still see the welding mark, which is the part in the middle oval area that has not turned black.
The video mainly shows the brush plating process of half of the chrome-plated rod, and the repair process of the other half is the same.
