She said, "Peace is possible and Israelis want to have peace with their neighbours."

When asked about her thoughts on the situation in the Middle East one year on from October 7th, she added, "We still have 101 hostages...we feel like the war is not accomplished until all the hostages are back.

"The Middle East is better than it was on the 7th October. Hezbollah, Hamas and later on the Houthis joined into a circle of fire, they were certain Israel was could be easily defeated if they used all their ammunition and support from Iran to kill innocent Jews."

Iain asked her if Israel accepts criticism over the pager attacks in Lebanon, to which she responded by saying, "Israel never took responsibility for the pager attack - but we do accept responsibility for Hassan Nasrallah." She added, "You can guess, be creative".

When asked about whether or not Palestinians should have their own state, she said, "If the Palestinian state is Gaza, then the answer is you're expecting Israel to have the Third Reich and have Third Reich ideology next to the Jewish state."

She ended the interview by saying, "On October 7, Israelis lost their children, some families were wiped out, Israelis want to have peace with all their neighbours, we will move forward to that. You know from your own history you had wars in Europe, now you live peacefully. Peace is possible."
