It was the 25th January 2003. An Australia Day gig. The venue - The Rockpool @ beautiful Toukley RSL Club. Everything started out fine , until the film crew arrived...they immediately found themselves at odds with the territorial sound crew slash lighting bod. It just went downhill from there. Zero cooperation between them.....so the recording was sabotaged from the outset. Poor lighting, pour sound and no regard for the band...the meat in the sandwich. I've heard better mixing from two 16 year olds on a church sound desk! Turning up all the red and yellow lights against the film crew request who were after a bluer hue.
This one is dedicated to Kippy Kipster who did all the hard work of organising it so we could get some promo vids to hand around. KEEP ROCKIN'!
