Liptovský Hrádok Castle (Hrad Liptovský Hrádok)

Описание: On the edge of the town of Liptovský Hrádok stands the Castle and the Manor on a small hill. The stone castle was built at the beginning of the 14th century by the Zvolen župan Donč. At that time, the castle was one of the military buildings and guarded an important trade route, in the past it was surrounded by a moat, which has been preserved in the form of a pond to this day. An important stage in the history of the castle was the construction of the Renaissance mansion. On the first floor of the manor there were representative rooms for the owners and their guests, and on the ground floor there were warehouses and accommodation for the servants. In 1803, both buildings were destroyed by a devastating fire, the mansion was restored, but the castle has been in ruins since then. Currently, the Castle and Manor in Liptovský Hrádek offer a unique opportunity to travel back to ancient times through an audio-visual presentation of history and reconstruction up to the present day. The duration of the tour is approximately 45 minutes and it is possible to enter the area only with a guide.

Na okraji mesta Liptovský Hrádok stojí ma malej vyvýšenine Hrad a kaštieľ. Kamenný hrad dal vybudovať zvolenský župan Donč na začiatku 14. storočia. Hrad v tom čase patril medzi vojenské objekty a strážil dôležitú obchodnú cestu, bol v minulosti obkolesený vodnou priekopou, ktorá sa zachovala v podobe jazierka dodnes. Významnou etapou v dejínach hradu bolo postavenie renesančného kaštieľa. Na poschodí kaštieľa boli reprezentačné miestnosti pre majiteľov a ich hostí a na prízemí zas sklady a ubytovacie priestory pre služobníctvo. V roku 1803 oba objekty zasiahol ničivý požiar, kaštieľ bol obnovený avšak hrad je odvtedy v ruinách. V súčasnosti Hrad a Kaštieľ v Liptovskom Hrádku ponúkajú jedinečnú možnosť preniesť sa do dávnych čias prostredníctvom prehliadky audiovizuálnou prezentáciou histórie a rekonštrukcie až do súčasnej podoby. Dĺžka prehliadky je zhruba 45 minút a do areálu je možné vstúpiť len so sprievodcom.
