Описание: On today’s adventure motorcycle ride, we load up the bikes with camping gear and head out on an unforgettable journey to Lake Pillsbury in Northern California. This trip is the perfect mix of pavement riding, off-road adventure, and backcountry exploration, filled with unexpected surprises, muddy corners, and breathtaking views.

Riding west across the valley, we pass through miles of California farmland, rolling hills, and quiet back roads before winding our way through the Clear Lake area, one of California’s largest natural freshwater lakes. From there, we take it slow through Potter Valley, an agricultural gem known for its fertile soil, deep history, and connection between the Russian River and Eel River watersheds.

As the pavement gives way to dirt, the ride becomes a true dual sport and adventure motorcycle experience. Slick corners, forest roads, and ridgelines reward us with wide-open vistas that make it impossible not to pause and appreciate God’s creation all around us.

Reaching Lake Pillsbury, formed by Scott Dam on the Eel River in the early 1900s, makes every mile worth it. Surrounded by forested hills, quiet shoreline, and the chance of spotting a local elk herd, this remote destination is a dream for motorcycle camping and overland-style travel.

The night is spent camping under the stars, gathered around a campfire with good friends, cold air, frozen tents, and plenty of stories. In the stillness of the mountains, far from the noise of everyday life, it’s easier to reflect, laugh, and be grateful for moments like these.

The next morning brings frost, warm coffee, and one last gift from the trail — the elk herd we were hoping to see. We pause, take it all in, and then point the bikes back toward home, reminded why we ride.

Trips like this are about more than motorcycles. They’re about faith, friendship, adventure, and time spent in God’s country. As Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God,” and out here, that truth couldn’t be clearer.
