Wonderful gumbé CD from one of Guinnea-Bissau's most famous bands. They also happen to be one of our all time favourites too, with the beautiful voice of lead singer Micas Cabral always lending a unique deep and emotive quality to any Tabanka Djaz track. All of their albums are incredible with each containing at least one truly outstanding track.

We feel on this one it's "Raça Kinancoi" with its uptempo percussion, dancefloor friendly rhythm, and incredible horn sections that are joined by excellent synths, accordion fills, sumptuous soukous style guitar solos and of course glorious lead and backing vocals. A peak time tropical jam to heat up any discotheque. We first got the idea for the edit when seeing a clip of Antal at Doka using the track to maximum effect... we've looped the intro and duplicated our favourite section in the track to have 2x the hands in the air moments.
