Rich, flavourful coffee starts with the precise dose of freshly ground beans. Adjusting the tamp height of your coffee machines allows you to control the dose of coffee that is dispensed into the portafilter. Follow the step-by-step on how you can alter the height of the tamp fan to achieve consistently great tasting coffee every time.

Directions:
1. Using the magnetic handle on the grind outlet brush pull the tamping fan down from the grind outlet.
2. Pull out the fan coupling inside
3. You can adjust the length of the coupling by loosening the fastener with the allen key and rotating the coupling to the desired length.
4. Increasing the threaded screw height will lower the automatic dosage into the portafilter, whilst decreasing the height will increase the dose into the portafilter.
5. Place the coupling back into the grind outlet and place the fan back into place.
