From launch, CurseForge worked with Hytale to have mods ready for install right out of the gate. Because of this, the first step is downloading the CurseForge app. There is a link in the description above to get CurseForge. This will take to our text guide where you can click the “Download” button to go to the official download page. On this page, click the “Download Standalone” button, and the installer will download.

Next, you will want install CurseForge just like any other app. Open the installer and go through the installation process clicking Next a few times, agree to the EULA, and finally installing it. Make sure to skip getting the additional program at the end though.

Now, how do we install Hytale mods in CurseForge? As long as Hytale is installed on your computer, you should be able to select it right away on the Games page or in your sidebar. Then, click on “Browse” and start looking for mods. You can click to install any of these mods that you want, and they will work in-game.

To play Hytale with mods, just click the Play icon in the top right whenever you are ready to start playing. Hytale will open, and you will be able to go in-game and see your mods. It is worth noting that your mods are active in every world, so make sure you have the correct mods selected before joining.
