En esta ocasión haremos un bonito arreglo combinando una orquídea que se llama Notylia barkeri y una bromelia voladora. Para esto lo primero será poner la horquilla de donde vamos a suspender el tronco apenas termine todo el proceso, lo hago desde el inicio para no maltratar las plantas una vez que ya estén sujetas a la madera.

For this the first thing will be to put the fork from where we are going to suspend the trunk as soon as the whole process is finished, I do it from the beginning so as not to mistreat the plants once they are already attached to the wood.
The fork has turned out to be very thin and the chazo very large, to solve this we are going to use a plastic strip to fill the gap and screw it properly. And here we have it, now if we go to see the plants that we are going to put in this trunk.
I will give you a little history of these Notylias, because since I did not have space at home to have them, let's say I donated them to a park near home where I left them in a lemon tree, since I have seen them grow very well in citrus fruits. Over time I don't know what happened, the tree dried up and the only green left was the orchid, so well I just had to go to retrieve them and here I have them again. They are a bit battered by the direct sun that reached them for a few days, but I know that it is a very resistant plant and it will surely recover. It came to flower while away from home and here we see three capsules.
And these are the flying bromeliads, I got them from a nearby nursery and they are the ones that I am going to use for this work, since I am small and do not grow as much as others.
We can see that the branch where the orchid clung is completely dry, so we are going to clean a bit of dry and unnecessary roots. We see that this plant is quite deteriorated, it only has two half leaves and a couple of very small shoots. I hope he has enough energy left to be reborn and recover.
This other is in better condition, we have about 4 leaves and we are going to clean a little too, I am going to get rid of the wand with the capsules, because what I need now is for the plant to focus its energy on recovering and clinging to its new home.
This is another Notylia that I have in my garden, I share a little so that you can appreciate the flowering of the plant. You can throw up to about 4 flower wands at the same time.
