Condenser fan motor runs every time when compressor is on. The purpose of the motor is to cool down compressor thru the condenser coil where hot freon flow in the form of a liquid. First sign of the condenser fan motor is not working is the wall in between the freezer section and fresh food section gets super hot. Sometime to the point that it's hard to touch. Cooling especially for the freezer will be effected and relay overheat protector might even short. The same effect we can see when condenser coil is blocked by lint and it could lead to more serious expensive problems to fix. Most condenser fan motor have a relay starter which also could short. In this video I will show how to replace relay for the condenser fan motor and how to check schematics if you have a digital multimeter.
