On 24 January 2026, a major fire broke out at the Indigo Hotel in the Gulberg area of Lahore, Pakistan, prompting a large‑scale rescue and evacuation operation. The blaze started in the basement of the 19‑storey hotel building, with smoke spreading quickly through the lower levels of the structure.

Casualties & Evacuations:
At least three people were killed in the fire — identified as Imran, Shehryar, and Riaz — while several others were injured and taken to nearby hospitals.

Nearly 275 guests and hotel staff were safely evacuated from the building during the operation.
