Follow this step by step build video to make a new stand for your dog's food bowls! Made from 100% big-box store (pine) lumber, and using only basic carpentry skills and tools, you can make this whole project in under 4 hours (not including glue/finish dry time).
Wood
Top: 1x12" Pine (21" long)
Base
Legs: (4x) 2"x2" pine @ 11.25" long
Apron: 48" 1x4 cut to size based on your final size and design

Dewalt Jig-Saw
Bosch Router/table
Ryobi Flush-trim bit
Kreg Pocket hole Jig (1 1/4" Screws)
Kobalt Sliding 12" Mitre Saw
Finish
Watco Wipe on Poly (Gloss)
Varathane Stain (Dark Walnut)
Rustoleum White Latex Paint (Satin)
While I may have used my shop tools to speed this up and batch several out, you can just use a jigsaw, a drill, and wood glue for 100% of this build. Just follow the steps above and feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
