black clouds above my head
some water on the bench

the denim of my jeans is now sticking to my legs
my chest is getting cold
my nose is turning red

i feel the wind
it cools my skin
i feel nothing but the breeze

i want the rain to pour
no difference between all
the ashes and the drops
that paint the sky
i want me back

tuesday morning and my boots can’t take it any longer
i need to take a breathe
i’m sure i will regret

i know that if i stop i may set another fire
don’t care if my feet hurt
if i’m not getting burnt

it’s drizzling
it wets my skin
i feel nothing but the mist

my head is spinning round as i wander through this village
i lay eyes on the sky
don’t get to say goodbye
