Описание: As we officially move into the second half of iRacing‘s 2023 Season 1, the iRacing GR Cup has been fairly good to Dave Cam so far. Three wins, two runner-up finishes, and a heroic effort from the back of the pack to finish fifth at Laguna Seca two weeks ago.

We’re not going to talk about the botched Summit Point attempt last week… The records show a win! That’s why on the official standings, it now shows Dave with seven starts in six weeks. Granted, the lower finish won’t count towards the points, which he’s now 10th overall entering this week, but still…

As the official GR Cup series moves to its next venue on the calendar, Fuji Speedway, Dave acknowledges that he’s had struggles at the newer-to-iRacing venue in past attempts. In reality, all Dave wants is to get out of virtual Japan with a Top 5 finish and a clean Toyota GR86. It’s never easy, though!

Starting in a surprising fourth position, can Dave hang on for a decent finish around the 4.563-kilometer (2.835-mile) road course? Things will get hairy at times, so make sure you watch through until the end!
