Part 3 of our Art of Star Wars Celebration podcast has Isa, Reya and Felix saving the most controversial piece for last! Erik Maell’s Rey’s Abduction - his interpretation of the memorable scene on Takodana - has us talking Universal Monsters, Gone with the Wind, Harlequin Romance covers, Hades and Persephone, and more.

This video is the concluding part of a discussion of three art works that will be displayed at the Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016 Art Show.

The art work for the Star Wars Celebration Art show is selected from submissions by artists from all over the world by a panel of judges comprised of artists from many divisions within Lucasfilm, and the prints are sold exclusively at the Star Wars Celebration in limited release and under the Lucasfilm Trademark.

The three images we have chosen to discuss almost exclusively feature Rey and Kylo Ren. The themes are thought provoking, and even controversial to some. The images discussed are:
