Описание: At a time when COVID is making it difficult to travel around the world. I would like to introduce you to the most beautiful and interesting places in Latvia. My first stop is Jūrkalne.
The picturesque steep bank of Jūrkalne, popular with paragliders and windsurfing enthusiasts, offers a great alternative to relaxing by the sea and the almost untouched beach of civilization. The steep bank is wild and quickly erodes. Every year, in the autumn storms, a few meters of it disappear into the Baltic Sea. After the Second World War, Jūrkalne beach that marked the western border of the Soviet Union were available only with special permits, but now for a couple of decades Jūrkalne is again a very popular summer destination.

In this place 2011, episodes of the South Korean film MY WAY were filmed here. Beaches of Normandy the D-Day invasion.
