Musée Picasso features one of the largest Picasso collections in the world. Pablo used the museum's medieval building, the former Château Grimaldi, as a studio for 2 months in 1946.
Today it is home to a variety of mediums, notably 80 ceramics, 44 drawings, 32 lithographs, and 24 paintings. The featured work - La Joie de Vivre - painted here and set the tone for his works produced since 1946.
