This video presents the analytical method of solving the extreme positions of a four-bar linkage of Problem 1-1 from the book of James and Doughtie, Elements of Mechanism.
Microsoft Excel was used to speed up the calculations and results were verified using Fusion 360. Also, graphical and analytical solutions were compared.
